Scrim: How to play CS2 Scrim Mode
In this guide, we'll show you how you can use the free CS2 scrim servers provided by us, to play the scrim mode. Also known as 5v5, gather, warserver or scrimmage.
How to play Scrim Mode
Login to the SCL platform in the top-right corner.
- Go to the Scrims tab of the SCL website.
Click "Start Server" and select Scrim Server.
Select the scrim options, such as playout, map, server location, demo recording and team.
Copy the IP-Address and join the server using the in-game console.
- Once everyone has joined the server, use the chat command
.startto start the match.
(The creator of the scrim is the only one who can use this command).
The demo will be available to download after the scrim has been completed, if demo recording enabled. Note that only players that attended to the match can download the demo, and not external players.
